Welcome Aboard the Treasure Island Team!
We are so excited that you have recently joined the Treasure Island team. We can’t wait to see how God is going to use you in your new role here. We want to share with you some basic information and helpful resources that will set you up for success as a Treasure Island Volunteer. First, let’s start with the basics:
To reach kids and come alongside families to help them walk with God.
WHAT WE TEACH:
We use a curriculum called The Gospel Project which takes kids on a 3 year Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids get to discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. We believe when kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything and that is what we want our kids to walk away from Treasure Island understanding.
TREASURE ISLAND RULES:
Engage in small group.
Only one person may talk at a time.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Participate in large group.
Treasure Island Handbook
Please take a few minutes to read over our volunteer handbook. In this handbook you will find more practical, helpful information like our policies and procedures, volunteer responsibilities, and an overview of some of our special events. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns along the way by emailing Treasure Island’s volunteer coordinator, Sierra Barnes, at email@example.com.
