Local Missions

Jesus told His followers that we are to love God first and love our neighbors as ourselves. We believe that love is most naturally shown when we sacrificially serve our local community. We seek to partner with organizations that are helping the most pressing physical & spiritual needs in our community.

Weekend Meals on Wheels - Cape Fear

Meals on Wheels is a local nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals and other nutrition services to men and women who are elderly, homebound, disabled, frail or at risk. These services significantly improve the quality of life and health of these individuals, and postpone early institutionalization.

PC3 helps support the weekend program that federal funding does not cover. And on the fourth Sunday each month, a team from PC3 prepares and delivers a hot lunch meal to approximately 170 elderly shut-ins in our community.

Saturday Meals & Vigilant Hope

VH.png

Each Saturday PC3 volunteers partner with Vigilant Hope to help restore dignity of neighbors in need who are hungry and/or homeless. We travel to Lake Forest Baptist Church where we serve lunch at 12:00pm, eat lunch with those we serve and help with the shower trailer on site. It is a special ministry opportunity and a great way for families to serve together to empower & show love to some of the most vulnerable in our area. To volunteer, click here

Vigilant Hope is a modern missions organization with a desire to reach and serve those in need and to challenge you to do the same! We exist to educate and equip the Body of Christ to reach into the community with the hope of the gospel through urban outreach, relief ministry and educational programs.
