A Safe Place is an empowerment organization focusing on prevention, advocacy, and restoration to assist victims of commercial sexual exploitation and domestic minor sex trafficking that services the southeast region of North Carolina with the following programs: A toll-free, anonymous hotline, transitional housing, direct support services and our Outreach Center are available to any victim identified by A Safe Place, partner organizations or law enforcement.

CISCF works in partnership with public schools to identify and connect students, many in jeopardy of dropping out, with the community resources they need to stay engaged in school. We offer programs in After School, Non-Traditional Learning, Teen Parenting and Dropout Prevention.

Good Shepherd Ministries (GSM) serves those in need in our community in a variety of ways. Their mission is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and foster transition to permanent housing. Both individuals and groups from PC3 volunteer at GSM. Hours of volunteering depend on the task.
Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity
Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity is a housing ministry dedicated to providing affordable housing to families in need in the Cape Fear region. Volunteer opportunities with Habitat include helping build the homes for these families. No experience is necessary, as Habitat provides the training, but you must be at least 16 years old to participate.
Weekend Meals on Wheels - Cape Fear
Meals on Wheels is a local nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals and other nutrition services to men and women who are elderly, homebound, disabled, frail or at risk. These services significantly improve the quality of life and health of these individuals, and postpone early institutionalization.
PC3 helps support the weekend program that federal funding does not cover. And on the fourth Sunday each month, a team from PC3 prepares and delivers a hot lunch meal to approximately 170 elderly shut-ins in our community.
Step Up Wilmington
Step Up is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals to find and keep satisfying work through job readiness and life skills training. Through the efforts and commitment of our passionate board of directors, loyal volunteers, talented staff members, and partner organizations, Step Up has aided more than 800 people in finding jobs with local businesses.
Saturday Meals & Vigilant Hope
Each Saturday PC3 volunteers partner with Vigilant Hope to help restore dignity of neighbors in need who are hungry and/or homeless. We travel to Lake Forest Baptist Church where we serve lunch at 12:00pm, eat lunch with those we serve and help with the shower trailer on site. It is a special ministry opportunity and a great way for families to serve together to empower & show love to some of the most vulnerable in our area. To volunteer, click here
Vigilant Hope is a modern missions organization with a desire to reach and serve those in need and to challenge you to do the same! We exist to educate and equip the Body of Christ to reach into the community with the hope of the gospel through urban outreach, relief ministry and educational programs.
Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (W.A.R.M.)
W.A.R.M. works to rebuild homes for the elderly and disabled, and families in need in our community. Both skilled and unskilled labor are needed. Opportunities are available on weekdays and weekends, for individuals and groups.
