What to Expect

It’s always comforting to know what to expect, especially when it comes to your children. Here is some information that should help you feel confident and comfortable as you leave your child in our care.

Check In

We open doors 20 minutes prior to each service. If you are new to Grow Zone, please plan to arrive a little early on your first day so that we can register your family and give you a tour. Also, in order to keep Grow Zone a safe and productive place, entrance doors will be closed 20 minutes after the service begins.

We start checking children in at 8:40am, 10:40am and 4:40pm. If you are a first-time guest, please come to the front desk area of Grow Zone. Our Host Team will get some information from you, check your child in, and give you a quick tour of the Grow Zone environment.

We encourage you to come a little early so we can show you around and get you registered. You can fill out this form to let us know you are coming for a visit. We look forward to having your child join us.

We Have Fun

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus through games, crafts, storytelling, and music.

Safety is Essential

  • All of our volunteers are background checked

  • No volunteer is ever alone with a child

  • Our Safety Team ensures that no one gets into Grow Zone who shouldn’t be there

  • Every classroom has designated ratios and maximum capacities to ensure quality of care

  • If you are needed at any time, we will page you by placing your child’s number up on the screen during service. If you see your child’s number, please return to Grow Zone immediately.

  • We are "allergy-friendly" and do not allow outside food in the Grow Zone classrooms. We provide gluten-free Cheerios and water at snack time. If your child has an allergy, be sure to let Grow Zone staff know when you register your child.

We are Clean

  • Kids are people. And people carry germs. But the good news is that the people at our classroom doors also carry antibacterial, alcohol-free, foaming hand sanitizer so each child’s hands get a good wipe down before they come in to play.

  • All of our toys and hard surfaces get cleaned between services with organic, nontoxic all-purpose cleaner.

  • We adhere to a Well-Child policy that requires children to be free of fever for 24 hours before entering Grow Zone.

We are More Than Daycare

Starting at age 2, children are actively engaged in curriculum that shows them God’s love for them. This means that every story, craft, song, and game is tailored to teach your child about the wonderful love and miracles of our great God. We desire to create relationships between the volunteers and the children that go beyond just daycare.

Special Environments

Special Needs

We are committed to offering an inclusive, safe and loving environment for children with special needs and/or a child who might simply need additional assistance in the classroom. Our desire is to create an accepting church environment for these families and to support them by providing additional resources.

We offer a One-on-One Buddy Program that matches your child with a consistent volunteer who will help them participate in an inclusive setting in Grow Zone. Our desire is for the buddy, the child, and their family to develop a strong relationship with each other based on trust and communication.

To request a Buddy, please speak with a Grow Zone staff member on Sunday.

If you have any questions or need information prior to your visit please contact us.

Mom’s Nursing Room

We provide a nursing room for moms and their babies that allows you to take care of your child in a safe and quiet environment without having to miss the service.
